Katie Holmes takes Suri to work in Australia as Tom Cruise returns to the States
The Daily Mail - UK
Working mother Katie Holmes doesn't worry about child care for her daughter Suri - she simply takes the three-year-old to work with her.
The pair were yesterday spotted on the set of Katie's movie "Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark," which she is filming in Australia.
Katie, 30, picked up Suri for a hug in a break from filming, wrapping her in a blanket to keep out the chilly winter air.
Suri was warmly dressed in a red quilted mac, with skinny jeans and Mary Janes. She carried a red teddy nearly as big as herself, and walked hand-in-hand with her mother as they headed to a trailer.
Katie's husband Tom Cruise accompanied the pair to Melbourne two weeks ago, keeping Suri occupied while Katie filmed the horror movie.
They visited the aquarium and Melbourne Zoo, where Tom bought Suri a toy kangaroo, before shopping for lip glosses for Katie.
But Tom has now returned to Los Angeles, where he was yesterday spotted watching friend David Beckham's controversial return to the pitch for LA Galaxy.
Since her birth Suri has often lived away from her father, including six months in New York while her mother appeared in Broadway show "All My Sons."
Katie's new film, her second since her 2005 wedding, is due out in 2011. She will be hoping it does better than comedy caper "Mad Money," which failed to set the box office alight when it was released in January 2008.
