From the looks of things, Katie Holmes is enjoying every second of summer in New York City, typically with daughter Suri by her side.

Whether she's out to lunch, shopping in boutiques, filming on set in Brooklyn or working with stylist Jeanne Yang on their Holmes & Yang fashion collection, this multitasking mother isn't slowing down anytime soon. 

We recently caught up with the star at a Coach event in the Big Apple to see what she's currently buzzing about.

Here's what she shared with us:

What do you love most about summer? 
I love making pies. I love making blueberry pies to be exact!

Sounds delicious! What about beauty products? Do you have a favorite one or a beauty secret you'd like to share?
Blueberries. They are my beauty secret.

What is your fitness secret?
Go to the gym, even when you don't want to!

What is your favorite song right now? 
Hmmm, I am listening to "No Women No Cry" by The Fugees. It feels like summer to me.

What's your favorite thing about fashion?
I love fashion and especially when it does something that's good like Coach is doing with this event. They are helping rebuild NYC. 

Tell me what New York City means to you?
I love it here! It's just one of a kind. It's so expansive and it has a certain charm.
