Katie Holmes Talks 'The Extra Man,' Tom's Crazy Stunts
Katie Holmes hit the snowy streets of Park City, UT solo for the premiere of her new movie 'The Extra Man' at the Sundance Film Festival, and she tells ET, "It's great to be back."
She also says that she's not at all worried about hubby Tom Cruise performing crazy stunts for his upcoming action comedy with Cameron Diaz, 'Knight and Day.'
"No, because he's great at them and he works really hard," she says, "and it's really exciting because he's so inventive and I love seeing it. It's really amazing and he's pretty cool."
In 'The Extra Man,' Katie plays a hippie-type working at an environmental magazine alongside Paul Dano, a brainy, cross-dressing English teacher who moves to New York to pursue literary adventure and finds work as an escort for wealthy widows under the guidance of Kevin Kline's character. John C. Reilly also stars.
"It's a unique story, the tone, the style," says Kevin. "I was tickled and couldn't wait to play it."
Katie also has another movie making the rounds at the annual film fest with Josh Duhamel, 'The Romantics.'
"I had a lot of great working experiences last year, and I'm really excited to show these projects here," says Katie, whose last Sundance fave was 'Pieces of April.'
