OLMSTED FALLS, OH — Cleveland’s new nickname should be ‘Little Hollywood!’

Another top Hollywood producer has selected the city as the background for his new movie.

Producer Rob Carliner is set to shoot his new film, “Tootaloo,” in Northeast Ohio. Carliner is best known for his work on the Oscar winning movie, “Crazy Heart.”

Sunday, the film held a casting call for actors at the Olmsted Performing Arts Center.

“It’s kind of Mary Poppins meets Quentin Tarantino, so a little vigilante. Miss Meadows is a substitute teacher and witnessed a crime when she was younger and wants to help for the better good,” said casting director Angela Boehm.

Boehm said they were looking for about 100 extras. Some people would be pulled for speaking roles.

Filming of “Tootaloo” is set to begin in August and will take place all over downtown, Tremont and Edgewater with shooting expected to last about 20 days.

Katie Holmes will reportedly star in the Indie film.
