She’s back.

Actress Katie Holmes has returned to Chelsea, where she hid out after announcing her divorce from Tom Cruise in 2012.

The “Dawson’s Creek” and “Ray Donovan” star has reportedly inked a short-term lease for a $25,000 a month penthouse at 201 W. 17th St., just a few blocks from her old digs at the Chelsea Mercantile building.

The 2,400-square-foot pad, where Holmes will live with daughter Suri, has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, floor-to-ceiling windows, automatic shades and a wood-burning fireplace wrapped in slate.

The highlight of the apartment? A small landscaped outdoor terrace with views of the Empire State Building and the World Trade Center.

Listing broker Brandon Trentham of Town Residential didn’t respond to a request for comment.

Holmes and Suri normally live in a mansion in Calabasas, Calif., for which the actress paid nearly $4 million last year.
