Katie Holmes & Suri Cruise's Fun, Fishy Aquarium Visit
By Sara Hammel
Suri Cruise had her own version of a deep-sea adventure.
She and mom Katie Holmes got up close and personal with some sea life at the Vancouver Aquarium in Stanley Park, including starfish, sea urchins and sea cucumbers as they took the Behind the Scenes Tour recently.
"The little guests always enjoy themselves immensely and holding the creatures is always the most popular," an aquarium source tells PEOPLE.
The duo, in Vancouver visiting Tom Cruise as he continues to film "Mission: Impossible 4," arrived near closing time for a VIP tour of the fish hallway, wet exhibits, sea stars, jellyfish and west coast sea mammal exhibits.
Holmes, 32, and Suri, 4, enjoyed the dolphins, the Beluga whales and sea otters while learning what goes on at the aquarium after it's closed, the source said.
According to the aquarium, the VIP Tours are about 45 minutes. The jelly fish exhibit includes venomous species and is always the most popular with VIP guests, says the source.
