Katie Holmes Daughter Suri Loves Ballet

Katie Holmes says her daughter Suri loves ballet and is interested in being a dancer.

Holmes says 4-year-old daughter Suri is a natural when it comes to dance.

"She loves ballet," Katie said at a Variety's Power of Women Luncheon, where she was recognized for her work with the Dizzy Feet Foundation. "She's great at it."

Suri has been attending ballet lessons for over a year and is often pictured in her leotard and tutu.

She was first introduced to the dance when she attended The Nutcracker by the New York City Ballet with her mother at Christmas in 2008.

The VIP tot was given a backstage tour where she met the glamorous ballerinas and admired the costumes.

Katie most recently filmed her latest comedy, "Jack and Jill," with a cross-dressing Adam Sandler on the movie’s Los Angeles set. The film tells the story of Jack who is forced to deal with his twin sister, Jill, when she visits for Thanksgiving, but then won't leave. Katie plays Jack's wife in the movie, which also stars Al Pacino and Christie Brinkley.

Earlier this year Katie and her hubby Tom Cruise took to the stage at the Fifth Annual A Fine Romance benefit gala in California, performing a seductive song-and-dance rendition of "Whatever Lola Wants."

The former Dawson's Creek star also appeared on a much-hyped episode of So You Think You Can Dance last season.

Tom Cruise, meanwhile, has been off traveling the world for Mission: Impossible 4. He was first in Prague, where Katie and Suri visited, before he moved on to shoot in Dubai. The action man was pictured dangling almost 2,717 ft in the air last week as he filmed a death-defying sequence on the tallest building in the world - the Burj Khalifa Tower.

Fans on the street below in the UAE city watched in awe and terror as the 48-year-old ran around the windows below the tower's Observation Deck, 124 floors above the ground, during a chase scene.
