Katie Holmes glides into private dance class
Herald Sun - Australia
Katie Holmes has pulled on her dancing shoes, taking a private class at Jason Coleman's Ministry of Dance studio yesterday afternoon.
The light-on-her-feet young mum, left her daughter Suri with a minder and spent about two hours at the busy North Melbourne studio owned by the "So You Think You Can Dance" judge.
Holmes is a keen dancer.
She had been taking intensive lessons in LA before she headed to Melbourne to start work on the horror film "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark" and has filmed a Broadway-inspired dance number, which will be shown on the US version of "So You Think You Can Dance."
She'll be appearing on the show's 100th episode, which will be aired in the States next Thursday
While Coleman yesterday declined to comment about his studio's famous visitor, it is believed Holmes's team was put in contact with the TV judge through the US version of "Dance."
There are strong links between the two shows, with Talia Fowler, who won Dance in Australia, set to perform on the grand finale of the US version on August 6.
